I saw this two beautiful photos at my SIL's house today. It reminds me right away the Angelus prayer. Growing up we are thought to pray at 6am, midnoon, and 6pm. I remember that church bell rang at this specific time for people to stopped and say their prayers. When my hubby visited me for the first time in the Philippines he was impressed that at the mall at the struck of 12midnoon and or 6pm a call from the mall radio control room to stopped what ever you do and say the prayers. And everybody stopped, bow their heads say the prayer and if you are not a Christian you don't know the prayer just keep quiet and respect other. He said that was awesome!!

I think those images are from one painting...it has 'evensong' in the title, as I remember. So peaceful.
